A workshop that focuses on being a collaborative dancer in a dance film. The workshop emphasizes the choreographic process and the performance in front of the camera.The video above is one result from a workshop I facilitated at International Dance Academy in Copenhagen in 2022. The dancers are given a choreographic task – in this case, to investigate the negative space they create with their movement and between them and their fellow dancers.
